"Everything. Everywhere. Always" - Fædrelandsvennen introduces new strategy

15/05-2012

The Norwegian newspaper Fædrelandsvennen is now introducing a completely new subscription model, where all editorial content is made available on the web and on the mobile platforms for the newspaper's subscribers.

Fædrelandsvennen has chosen to give the newspaper's subscribers a greatly expanded platform to all the content from the paper edition, and made it available on the web, smartphones and tablets. Until now, the newspaper only published a part of the daily newspaper's content on the digital platforms. Now there is access to material like comments, debates and opinion pieces as well.

- Reading habits have changed and that we have met this with our new subscription model. If you have paid for our content, you can now choose where you want to read our articles: on paper, web or mobile, without having to pay more, says Eivind Ljøstad, editor of the Fædrelandsvennen at the launch.

Fædrelandsvennen new e-paper and newspaper apps for smartphones and tablets was developed in collaboration with Visiolink.
